Josephine Schäfer

Since March 2026, Josephine Schäfer works as Press and Communications Manager at Agora Industry and is part of the communications team of the Agora Think Tanks (Agora Energiewende, Agora Industry and Agora Agriculture). In her role, she is primarily responsible for the communication and publication of Agora Industry’s policy reports and publications.

Prior to joining Agora, Josephine worked at the consultancy 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice, where she focused on strategic communications and positioning for clients in the industry, energy and public sector. Earlier in her career, she gained political and communications experience in the German Bundestag, at a regional energy utility, and in the automotive sector.

Josephine Schäfer holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Technical University of Dresden and a Bachelor’s degree in International Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Passau.
