Agora Industry to recruit new global director

Agora Industry is recruiting a new director to steer its global work, following the decision of the current director Dr Julia Metz to step down. Metz will continue to head Agora’s global industry work until the end of the year. Julia Bläsius, Director of Agora Energiewende Germany has taken over Agora Industry’s work in Germany. 

As Agora’s international arm and the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) join forces, the global industry programme will expand into new geographies and deepen its work on topics defining the industrial transformation.

That is why the work of Agora Industry is more important today than ever: only with the right policy framework will the investment flow where it matters – modernising industry and cutting emissions. I would like to thank everyone who has accompanied me on this journey and made Agora Industry what it is today. I look forward to new challenges next year but will remain closely connected to Agora Industry also in the future," says Dr Julia Metz, outgoing Director of Agora Industry.
