Eleanor Batilliet

Eleanor Batilliet joined Agora Industry in September 2022. Her work focuses on European and German policy for climate-neutral energy-intensive industries, especially relating to embodied carbon, lead market instruments and trade.

Prior to this, Eleanor worked in an EU public affairs consultancy in Brussels, working on transport and trade policies, and she also gained experience working on subnational climate finance at the German development agency (GIZ).

Eleanor Batilliet holds a master’s degree in international affairs from the Hertie School in Berlin, where she specialised in trade and climate policies, and a bachelor’s degree in social and political studies from University College London (UCL). She speaks French, English and German.
