Dr. Oliver Sartor
Lead EU Industry Policy
Dr Oliver Sartor is Lead EU Industry at Agora Industry. His work focuses on European and national policy for climate-neutral energy-intensive industries and related circular economy aspects.
Before he started working for Agora, Oliver spent 12 years working in academia, in think tanks and in the financial sector, particularly focusing on European and international climate policy, emissions mitigation strategies for energy-intensive industries, carbon leakage, coal transitions, emissions trading and climate governance.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the Sorbonne University in Paris and Bachelor Degrees in both Arts and Commerce from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
