Theo Winkels

Theo Winkels is a student employee at Agora Industry, where he focuses on various aspects of industrial decarbonisation. His work primarily involves analysing lead markets and developing strategies for climate-neutral, resource-efficient policies.

Previously, Theo gained experience during an internship at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, where he contributed to the development of policy frameworks for industrial decarbonisation and international cooperation.

In parallel, Theo is pursuing a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Economics and Sustainability at Technische Universität Berlin, with a focus on the intersection of climate policy and economics. For his Bachelor's degree in Economics, he wrote a thesis examining the economic opportunities and risks of carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) in the cement industry, with a focus on international frameworks and the economic impacts of this technology.
