René Rott
Officer Project Controlling and Grant Management
René works as Finance and Controlling Officer at Agora Thinktanks (Agora Industry, and Agora Agrar). He joined Agora in July 2025.
Prior to this, he worked at Climate Analytics in Berlin, most recently as a research analyst on projects related to climate change adaptation and socio-economic projections. Earlier, he was part of Climate Analytics’ finance team, where he was responsible for preparatory accounting tasks. René began his professional career in accounting at Hamburg-based food start-up Frischepost, supporting the company during a dynamic growth phase. René holds degrees in geography from Universities of Hamburg and Hannover.
