Niklas Wagner

Niklas supports the Agora Industry team, especially on topics related to the decarbonisation of the steel industry.
In addition to his work at Agora Industry, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Economics at the Technical University of Berlin. His main interest is policy design in the context of environmental and resource economics. He worked as an intern and student assistant in audit-related consulting on the topic of ESG reporting. Previously, he completed an internship at the Institut für Ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (IÖW) in the research field of Business, Value Chains and Consumption.
Niklas holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from the Georg-August University Göttingen. His thesis deals with market failures as barriers to the circular economy of plastic packaging and with corresponding solution approaches.
