Dr. Kathy Reimann
Programme Lead Climate-Neutral Industry
Kathy Reimann works as a Programme Lead for Climate-Neutral Industry. She is responsible for the development of strategies and instruments regarding the transformation of basic material industries, particularly the steel industry.
Before joining Agora, Kathy worked for the Competence Centre on Climate Change Mitigation in Energy-Intensive Industries, where she helped enable industry sectors to begin their decarbonization journey. Prior to that, Kathy was part of Bombardier Transportation’s EcoDesign team, leading their work in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Until 2010, Kathy worked as post-graduate at Technische Universität Berlin and researched methods of sustainability evaluations for products and technologies. She studied Environmental Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin and completed her PhD thesis in the field of Sustainable Engineering.
