Fedor Unterlöhner

Senior Associate EU Industrial Transformation

Fedor Unterlöhner works as Senior Associate EU Industrial Transformation on the decarbonisation of Europe’s steel, chemical and cement industries. In this context, he also focuses on relevant climate technologies, such as hydrogen, biomass, and carbon management.

Before joining Agora, Fedor spent over six years at Transport & Environment (T&E), Europe’s think tank for clean transport and energy, where he developed regulatory strategies to decarbonise commercial vehicles. Earlier in his career, he completed internships at the news magazine DER SPIEGEL, Germany’s Federal Foreign Office, and the European External Action Service (EEAS).

Fedor holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chinese Studies from the University of Freiburg, and a master’s in International Relations from Aarhus University. He also studied at the National University of Singapore.
